How does Drink & Care Urinary work?
The key ingredient is DL-methionine – an essential amino acid and natural building block of protein.
It has urine acidifying properties and can help prevent the formation of struvite stones. Feeding one Urinary drink per day can lower the urinary pH level.
When combined with a dry food that promotes mild urine acidification (e.g., our "Adult" range for adult cats), it results in a urinary pH level similar to those found in special diet foods aimed at preventing struvite crystals in cats with urinary issues.
