Meat is a valuable resource – so we firmly believe that it must be prepared in the best possible way. For LEONARDO® fresh Meat we use fresh meat and mostly do without pre-dried meat meal. That is how we achieved a preparation that was considered impossible. Our very gentle Fresh Meat Technology is applied to process the fresh meat directly into a kibble. This compensates pre-drying stages, and the ingredients used remain fresh until just before processing. This is the only way that the full flavour of the meat can later emerge in the kibble.

Hochwertig lecker und bekömmlich

Ich habe drei Katzen die hautpsächlich Nassfutter bekommen. Zwei davon sind sehr wählerisch. Jetzt ist eine krank geworden und verweigert jegliches Nassfutter. Auf der Suche nach hochwertigem Trockenfutter bin ich auf Leonardo gestoßen. Toll ist dass man mit einer Probierbox vorher testen kann. Das Futter Fresh Duck ist bei meinen Fellnasen sehr gut angekommen und sie mögen kein anderes mehr. Ich finde die Zusammensetzung richtig gut. Viel Fleisch kein Getreide und kein Zucker. Das Nassfutter von Leonardo schmeckt meinen Katzen leider nicht. Ich hätte gern auf Mischfütterung umgestellt. Das Trockenfutter wird auf jeden Fall wieder bestellt. Für meine Dicke gibt es schon länger das TF Leonardo Light was auch sehr gut ankommt. Lieferung und Service ist Top. Großes Lob an das Team von Leonardo.

Positiv überrascht!

Unser Ragdoll Kater Max ist ein kleiner Feinschmecker und bekommt eigentlich nur Nassfutter. Am liebsten mag er die Beutel und da auch nur die Sorte Känguru. Er frisst auch nur 2 Marken wobei Leonardo eine davon ist. Da wir nun aber noch 2 andere Kater haben und gerne Nassfutter und auch Trockenfutter geben möchten haben wir uns auf die Suche nach hochwertigem Low Carb Trockenfutter gemacht. So sind wir auf Leonardo gestoßen und haben uns entschieden den Geschmack Ente mal zu testen. Das Futter ist bei allen ausgesprochen gut angekommen und wir finden es von der Zusammensetzung her richtig gut. 40% Protein können nur wenige Trockenfutter vorweisen. Dazu kommt noch das kein Kartoffelmehl enthalten ist und dadurch die Kohlenhydrate so niedrig wie möglich gehalten worden sind. Für uns ein klarer Gewinner!!

As cats are carnivores, they can process plant starch in moderation if the carbohydrates are digestible. That is why we have added lots of high quality protein as well as tasty animal fat suppliers to the new LEONARDO® fresh Meat.

We completely do without grain or potatoes - only peas and amaranth deliver a small, easily digestible starch share.

Furthermore, these sources of carbohydrates have a low glycaemic index which let's the blood sugar increase slowly after the meal. This way, your cat is saturated longer and received only the carbohydrates which she can actually process. This allows us to provide a healthy and varied spread of nutrients without making the food hard to digest.
